I thought the romance was handled with such gentle hands. There was hurt from the perceived betrayal, but no bitterness. Nathan still loved Amelia and didn’t want revenge. He wanted to get her back, not get back at her. And he acted accordingly, with great maturity and respect.
Amelia was truly conflicted about her situation because she wanted him back too. She did try so hard to push him away so he can live his fullest life with her heart in him. She gave up her heart, her career, her life for him.
