This one sneaks up on you in the best way. What starts as a simple “confidence upgrade” turns messy once Victor (Connor Barton) stops playing coach and starts catching feelings. The flirtation feels easy and natural, full of teasing, jealousy that slips out sideways, and moments that linger a beat too long. Natalie Collins makes Ashley feel relatable and grounded, especially as she slowly realizes she’s reacting more to Victor than she ever did to her original crush. The chemistry does the work here; no big speeches needed; just tension, banter, and feelings getting inconvenient. By the end, it’s less about fake dating and more about admitting what’s been obvious all along.
