Add a review...An endearing, fresh, feel-good watch
As a regular vertical drama watcher for more than a year now, this series disoriented me (in a good way). First of all, and I think my most favorite scene in this series, is how warm and accepting Lyle's family is towards Emily and how they all refuse to enable Edith's crazy schemes. Best vertical family ever.
Emily has to navigate how to be with someone who sees her as worthy of love and makes her feel secure. Lyle adjusts to being with someone who has always felt like a second priority. But they make it through it with proper communication ✨️
I love a good he let her get away and now he's jealous storyline and this was the best execution I've seen because Thomas is a mess without her and he absolutely deserves that. He also does not deserve Bill (my favorite character in all this) as an assistant or as a friend. He never listened to him. 🙄
