First off, best title ever. I started Pucked and Pregnant expecting a ridiculous hockey romance, and honestly that’s part of what makes it so fun—but it ended up being way more entertaining than I expected. The story follows Alexis, who gets rescued from her awful boyfriend by Logan, a star hockey player, and what begins as a chance encounter quickly turns into a complicated love story after one passionate night leaves her pregnant. From there the drama really ramps up: Alexis is trying to figure out her future, Logan surprisingly steps up in a big way, and of course the toxic ex keeps showing up to make everything worse. Like most vertical microdramas the pacing is super fast and every episode ends on a hook that makes it hard not to keep tapping “next,” but this one works because the characters are genuinely likable and the romance actually feels sweet under all the chaos. This show is Pucking GREAT!
From the very first episode, the show wastes no time. The chemistry between Vertical Queen Rebecca Staughton and the hockey bad boy Logan Everett (Aaron Oberest) crackles with tension. Beneath the fiery confrontations and jealous exes is a surprisingly tender story about responsibility, identity, unexpected love and of course...hockey!
Also....Aaron Oberest's abs are totally fire. Great fun, sizzling romance and stellar direction make this a vertical hockey classic of the same status of Breaking The Ice.

Pucked and Pregnant is pure ReelShort melodrama in the best way: hockey, romance, secrets, villains, and a twist that immediately raises the emotional stakes to maximum.
The premise hooks you fast—Logan rescues Alexis from an abusive situation, they fall hard, and just when their future starts looking bright, the past crashes in. Alexis learns Logan accidentally caused her brother’s death in a hockey game, and suddenly this love story becomes a full-blown emotional minefield. It’s messy, dramatic, and exactly the kind of high-stakes conflict vertical dramas thrive on.
Rebecca Stoughton and Aaron Oberst carry the romance with strong chemistry. Rebecca makes Alexis feel warm and resilient, while Aaron nails the duality of Logan: intimidating enforcer on the ice, soft and devoted partner off it. Their relationship feels like the emotional engine that keeps the story moving.
