A splash of fantasy on a budget but make it cute. Marina (Kyra) charms as the landlocked mermaid who escapes a freak show only to flop right into CEO Sebastian’s (Kasey) life. Sure, the tail disappears faster than the budget for underwater scenes, but we get a jealous villainess, a CEO with trust issues, and a damsel-worthy rescue that ties it all up with a sparkly bow. Fantasy-lite? Yes. Entertaining? Absolutely.
